Physical Description
The Odonghe are short, broad-bodied humanoids wrapped almost entirely in heavy, layered clothing that obscures their true form. Their proportions are squat and thick, with rounded torsos, short legs, and padded arms that give them a low, grounded silhouette. Little skin is visible beyond their faces and hands, and even these are often partially hidden beneath hoods, scarves, or thick gloves. At a glance, an Odonghe appears less like a person and more like a bundled shape moving with deliberate weight, as though their mass is greater than their size suggests. Their faces are pale, smooth, round skulls with minimal features, wide-set eyes, and an expression that seems perpetually neutral or distant. The eyes are often the most striking detail: large, glassy, and alert, watching from within folds of fabric and shadow. Their mouths and noses are small, understated, and give little indication of emotion, making it difficult to read intent from expression alone. This lends the Odonghe an unsettling calm, neither openly hostile nor welcoming, but quietly observant. Odonghe garments are uniformly practical and worn, stitched from thick cloth and leather in muted browns and grays. Their clothing hangs loose but layered, suggesting insulation, protection, or ritual concealment rather than fashion. Even when standing still, they feel heavy and rooted, their posture slightly hunched, arms held close to their bodies. When they gather in groups, the Odonghe appear almost uniform—figures of similar height and shape moving with quiet purpose, defined less by individuality and more by their collective presence.
