View source for Exert

 '''Exert''' is a keyword used to indicate how many points of Exertion a character takes, it is usually denoted with a value such as '''Exert 1'''. Exert can be gained either through the use of powers and abilities, or as a natural hazard present in the game world.

==Exert Cost==
 The default Exert for using abilities is '''1''', unless otherwise specified. Exert is not a cost unless it is mentioned by keyword.

 An alternate cost type called [[Tension]] is a temporary Exert used primarily in channelled abilities. It functions the same way as Exert except that when the ability is no longer channelled, the Tension value is also removed. The default Tension value for a channelled ability is '''10'''.
